Medovik or also known as Russian Honey Cake is a layer cake popular in Russia and other countries of the former Soviet Union. The primary ingredients are honey and condensed milk.

It is a dessert which is known for its lengthy preparation time. It consists of layers of sponge cake with a cream filling and is often covered with nuts. Of a soft texture, it has the taste of caramelized sugar.

The finishing touches of various toppings, both flavorful and decorative.
